International DJ, Michelle Ericsson, otherwise known as the “Party Starter” grabs everyones attention when she is behind the decks – and it’s not just from her striking looks. Michelle has firmly established herself in the DJ world and has proven that she is a cut above the rest.

Known for her up-beat Electro House sets, incorporating splashes of Dubstep, R n B and Hip Hop, Michelle has the dancefloors packed across the world from Industry Nightclub (formerly Area Nightclub) in Hollywood, California, to Movida in London, from K3 Club in Germany, to Le Seven in France – just to name a few. Michelle even has stadiums packed, recently wowing the crowds as the Official Champions League Final DJ at Wembley Stadium, London.

Michelle has been busy jet-setting to all corners of the globe, recently touring England, Ireland, Jersey, France, Germany, Spain, Ibiza and making her much anticipated debut in Egypt where she was joined by the Artful Dodger.
Having vast knowledge of all music genres means that Michelle can mash up just about anything, which is part of what makes her sets exceptional. This girl knows her music.

As well as being a DJ, Michelle is also a singer / songwriter with an enviable track record of successful releases; “Start The Party”, “Into You”, “Slow Me Down”, “Enough” (featuring Napper) and “You Can’t Stop Me Now”, which was featured on the martial arts DVD, “Defending Against Attack”. The Spekrfreks remix of Michelle’s latest summer single “My Shining Light” released on Axis Trax Records was held at the number 1 spot on Beatport for just under 3 weeks!

Michelle’s latest EP, “Voyager”, in collaboration with the Spekrfreks and released on Big Fish Recordings, saw massive success with the track “Crazy Music” charting on Beatports Top 10 Must Hear Electro Tracks and making it into Beatports Top 50 Electro House Chart. “Voyager”, the title track off the EP, charted on Beatports Dubstep Top 40.

Michelle, from the U.S. and half – Spanish, has always had an ear for music, performing at The Royal Albert Hall and The Barbican Theatre in London when she was in her early teens. Traveling from a young age allowed Michelle to see much of the world, experience different cultures and gain an understanding of different musical styles, of which she incorporates into her music today.

Michelle continued to work on music throughout her time at University whilst reading for her Law degree. On completion of the degree, she focused her attention to DJ’ing and she hasn’t looked back since!

Big things are up ahead for this talented DJ! After accomplishing so much in such a short space of time, there’s no doubt that this multifaceted little lady is just getting warmed up.
